ADVENT DURING THE PANDEMIC

This Sunday marks not only the beginning of Lent but also the third anniversary of Advent's first online-only worship service. Three years ago, we stopped holding in-person worship services and three long months of worship-in-place began, with Pastor Gabi's dining room serving as our chapel. Three years ago, we were forced to learn new ways of being the church and continuing our ministries in unprecedented ways. Some of our new practices thankfully have gone away, but others are here to stay (communion practices, offering, live streaming, etc.).
