Gather the following items and attach the faith-related notes to place in a gift bag for your child on the first day of school or any day you want to give them something special.

     Eraser - Everyone makes mistakes, but God forgives.

     Toothpick - Pick good qualities in others and celebrate them.

     Rubber Band - Be flexible. Things may not always go the way you want, but God is always
                               with you.

     Bandage - When we hurt others, God wants us to make things right with them.

     Chewing Gum - Stick with things when they're tough - you can do anything with Jesus.

     Snickers Candy Bar - Remember to laugh - there's joy in Jesus!

     Starburst Candy - A burst of energy when you need a lift: God cares for us when we're tired.
